Basic Vacuum Technology for Students

NEATEC offers a one and a half-day workshop in basic vacuum technology, with particular emphasis in applications and techniques for the Semiconductor and Nanotechnology manufacturing industries.

This is an opportunity for students and college graduates to learn about the need to create and manage vacuum as used in the semiconductor and nanotechnology manufacturing industries.

Dates:            August 9– 10, 2016

Duration:      1.5 days

Where:          SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Albany, NY

 

General: NEATEC will sponsor 10 participants, on a first-come-first-serve basis

 

Students will learn about basic vacuum, pressure measurement, leak detection, vacuum gauges, applications of vacuum in the semiconductor industry, and other related topics

The application deadline is August 4, 2016

Breakfast and lunch will be provided

Who should apply?

The program is designed for 2-year and/or 4-year college students and graduates from a technology program
