Arduino Workshop Part 1: FMCC
January 25 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm EST
This 1-day short course will introduce you to the Arduino world. Arduino is a popular, inexpensive and powerful family of open-source single-board microcontrollers based on an easy-to-use hardware and software. Microcontrollers control everything from our thermostat to our car engines. In this part 1 of the course you will learn how to install and program the Arduino. During the first half-day you will learn the basics of the C-language used to program and monitor the Arduino microcontroller. In the second half of the workshop you will learn how to connect, interact and control basic devices such as LEDs, switches, and some other simple sensors, More advanced sensors will be introduced in Part 2 of this Arduino series. An Arduino board will be distributed to all participants to be used in your classes, but a laptop will be necessary. Lunch will be provided: any dietary needs email: firstname.lastname@example.org
